Two services
Two ways to see Switzerland properly.
Both are private, both are for one party at a time, and both begin with the same short conversation. The difference is whether I come with you.

01 — Reisebegleitung
Travelling with you
2026 fully booked · Taking 2027
I travel with you for the whole journey: driving the passes, reading the weather each morning and rebuilding the day when it turns, and doing the talking — at the desk, at the table, on the platform — in whichever of German, French or English it takes. You are looked after from the first morning to the last.
It is the one service that cannot be delegated, so there is only so much of it: one party at a time, three to eight days. 2026 is fully booked; I am taking 2027 now.
What you get
- Driven by me, or first-class rail with me beside you
- Every conversation handled in the right language
- Doors opened — the desk, the table, the platform
- The day rebuilt when the weather turns
- My own travel at cost, every line itemised
02 — Reiseorganisation
Planning your trip
Taking 2026 and 2027
I design the route and book every part of it — hotels, rail, transfers, tables — and hand you a journey that already works. You travel independently, with one person on this end who can fix it if anything slips.
Everything is costed in Swiss francs before you commit. You pay the hotels and operators directly, so your money never sits with me and your booking protections stay where they belong.
What you get
- A written itinerary, day by day, costed in francs
- Every booking made — hotels, rail, transfers, tables
- A weather alternative for every fixed day
- A number to call while you are here
How it goes
You write two sentences. I reply with questions. Then a route, costed.
- 1You write.
Roughly when, roughly how many, and what you are picturing. That is enough.
- 2I ask.
How much moving around you actually want. Whether the point is the mountains or the food. Whether anyone dislikes cable cars. Those answers shape a route more than the budget does.
- 3You get an outline.
Where you would stay, how you would move, what each part costs in francs, and what I would change if the weather turns. No deposit, no charge.
- 4You decide.
The outline is yours to keep whether or not you go further. Say yes, and I build and book it.
What it costs
Simple fees, stated upfront.
You pay for my days, not for how expensive your hotels turn out to be. Most of this business works on a percentage of the trip or a margin folded into the price; I do not, so nothing I recommend is weighted by what it would earn me. The fee is the fee; the hotels are the hotels.
- Travelling with you
- CHF 1 500 a day, minimum three days (CHF 4 500 for three days). My own travel, room and meals on the road are charged at cost and itemised — you see every line.
- Planning
- From CHF 1 500 for a trip of up to a week; CHF 2 900 for longer or multi-party journeys. Nothing is due until you have read the outline and want it built. The outline itself is free.
- Commission
- Hotels and operators pay me 10–15% of what you book, at their published trade rates. It is not added to your bill and it does not change your price. I state it here because it exists.
- What you pay whom
- Hotels, rail and operators are paid by you, directly, on their own terms. I hold none of your travel money, which is also why this is not a package under Swiss law.
If a commission would ever point me at a hotel I would not otherwise have chosen, the alternative goes in the same outline, with the difference stated, and you pick.
Before you write
The questions people ask first.
Do I pay anything to ask?
No. You write, I reply within one working day with questions, and the first outline — bases, trains, hotels, each part costed in francs — costs nothing. The fee starts only when you have read it and want it built.
What does it cost?
Travelling with you is CHF 1 500 a day, minimum three days. Planning a trip is from CHF 1 500 for up to a week and CHF 2 900 for longer or multi-party journeys. Hotels pay me 10–15% at their trade rates; it is not added to your bill.
Who do I pay the hotels?
The hotels and operators directly. Your money never sits with me, and your booking protections stay with the people who provide the room or the seat.
How far ahead should I write?
For a planned trip, three months or more. Travelling with you is one party at a time, so 2026 is fully booked and I am taking 2027 now.
How many of us can come?
Travelling with you: two to six people, three to eight days. Planned trips are typically seven to fourteen days and can cover more than one party; the fee for longer or multi-party journeys is CHF 2 900.
Which languages?
German, French and English. On the road that means the desk, the table and the platform are handled in whichever the place speaks.
Car or train?
Both, chosen leg by leg: some days are better driven over a pass, some better spent in a first-class carriage. The outline says which and why.
What if the weather turns?
Every fixed day in the outline has a weather alternative. When I travel with you I read the forecast each morning and rebuild the day on the spot.
Where are you based?
Lucerne, with a second office in Samedan in the Engadin, a few kilometres from St. Moritz. Neither is a shop front; everything starts with an enquiry.
Two sentences is enough to start.
No deposit to talk to me, and no charge for the outline. The fee starts once you have read it and want it built.
